Financial Aid is available to students who are experiencing financial need but would still like to participate in OMTA programs. Teachers can apply on behalf of their students for specific programs using the link below. Teachers must be current East Portland OMTA members to apply.

Financial Aid applications are due two weeks (14 days) before the registration deadline of the intended OMTA Program. Once reviewed by the Financial Aid committee, approved awards will be provided directly to the teacher via check reimbursement. Awards are 50% of registration fees for Syllabus and District Festivals, and 100% of registration fees for State Festivals. If the same student is requesting financial aid for multiple OMTA programs, the teacher will need to fill out separate applications for each program.

If the awarded student does not end up registering for the program, the financial aid amount must be returned to the East Portland OMTA Treasurer within 60 days after the registration closes. Teachers who do not return the awarded amount will be ineligible to apply for future students.
