Music & Baby Brains: What’s Really Going On?

The brain uses closely related mechanisms for processing music and speech. In our research lab, we study infants and have already seen these close connections in the youngest brains. Dr. Zhao will talk about these mechanisms and how music has implications for language acquisition for babies.
