How to find and include music by BIPOC, women, and nonbinary composers in your teaching:

We’ll explore ways to find music by underrepresented composers of all periods for use in the studio, masterclasses, syllabus, and festivals. We’ll talk about how to engage the students, and how to keep it going beyond our district’s Out of the Margins Festival. We’ll also discuss why this is important, and things to keep in mind. You’ll leave with pieces to use for all 10 Syllabus levels and ways to find more repertoire.
